GOOD GROUND
But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

LEAD PASTOR CYLIFE CHURCH IN CYPRESS, TX
BOB REED
Main Session 1: Discipleship Defined and Aligned
I grew up in a Christian home and at the age of 5, I knew I needed a Savior and I put my trust in Jesus! I grew up always going to church and was shocked when I was told that my parents would be getting a divorce when I was 12 years old. During my High School years, I drifted and found my identity in sports and the party scene. The churches that I attended growing up were very legalistic and irrelevant to my life. I still loved Jesus but couldn’t stand the church. My second semester of my Freshman year of college God very graciously broke me and started me on this journey of intentionally following Him. It eventually led me to finally surrendering to the call to be a Pastor (the last thing I wanted to do with my life). Now I have a huge passion for His Church and to help people experience the grace, kindness, and love of Jesus.

DEVELOPING HEALTHY STAFF CULTURE
DANIEL VILLARREAL
ROOM: ZIPLINERS
Daniel and Jannelle have been married for 20 years. Together they have served in full time ministry for over 18 years in a wide variety of roles, including youth and young adults pastors as well as leaders of prayer teams, connect groups, men’s and women’s ministries and everything in between. In 2009 God called them to start a Church in San Antonio.
They began praying with a small group of courageous people in a living room in 2010 and haven’t looked back. The Church grew quickly, soon moving into a movie theater as a mobile Church, and into multiple rented spaces thereafter. God kept sending people—families, students, singles and couples—to be a part of the Church. After adding multiple Sunday services to make room for those coming, we are now on the journey to purchasing our own permanent building to call home.
